Opt-Inspire, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to equipping seniors, children, and families with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to stay safe and savvy online. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, materials, events, and services. By accessing or participating in anything we provide, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully.
1. Use of Our Materials & Services
All content and resources shared by Opt-Inspire, including presentations, toolkits, workshops, videos, forms, and downloads, are provided for educational purposes only. We do our best to make everything accurate, timely, and helpful, but we can’t guarantee outcomes or results. None of the information provided by us constitutes legal advise. You use all content at your own risk.
Nothing we provide should be construed as legal, financial, medical, or professional advice unless otherwise clearly stated.
2. Eligibility & U.S.-Based Services
Opt-Inspire operates out of the United States. Our content is designed for U.S.-based users and in accordance with U.S. laws. If you are accessing our content or services from outside the U.S., you understand and agree that your data will be processed and stored in the U.S., and that we do not guarantee compliance with the laws of your home country.
3. Privacy & Data Collection
We respect your privacy. When you share your personal information with us, such as by signing up to volunteer or requesting a training it’s used only for the intended purpose. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for commercial gain.

4. Volunteer & Participant Conduct
If you’re volunteering, participating in events, or interacting with others on behalf of Opt-Inspire, we expect kindness, professionalism, and respect. We reserve the right to limit or revoke access to any Opt-Inspire opportunity for anyone who violates these principles.
5. Intellectual Property
All original content created by Opt-Inspire, including logos, toolkits, presentations, and written materials, is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written permission. If you would like to use our materials, just ask—we’re happy to collaborate.
6. Indemnification & Limitation of Liability
Opt-Inspire, Inc. is a volunteer-driven nonprofit committed to community good. While we strive to be thoughtful and accurate in all that we do, we cannot guarantee that every resource will apply perfectly to every person or situation.
By participating in or relying on any Opt-Inspire services, including workshops, toolkits, campaigns, and digital content—you agree to assume full responsibility for your use and any outcomes resulting from it.
You also agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Opt-Inspire, Inc., its Board of Directors, officers, staff, volunteers, advisors, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) that arise from:
- your use or misuse of our materials or services,
- your violation of these Terms,
- or your violation of any third-party rights.
This indemnification applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Third-Party Links & Tools
From time to time, our materials may link to third-party resources or websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties, and linking does not imply endorsement.
8. No Warranties
Everything we provide is offered “as-is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.
