Digital Literacy for Families:
Empowering the Next Generation

Protecting Kids in a Connected World Starts Now.

The internet is where kids learn, play, connect...and where risks can hide in plain sight. At Opt-Inspire, we believe digital literacy starts young and sticks best when families learn together. That’s why we’ve expanded our programming to serve 5th and 6th graders and their parents or guardians, equipping them with the tools to stay safe, think critically, and build lifelong habits of smart online behavior.

Whether it’s understanding what information is okay to share, spotting a scam in their game chat, or learning what “private” settings really mean - we’re here to help families thrive in today’s digital world.

What We Teach

Our family-focused sessions are fun, interactive, and age-appropriate. We focus on:

Personal Information Protection

Sharing online safely

What’s safe to share (and what’s not) online and in apps.

Online Kindness & Cyberbullying

Establishing digital emotional intelligence

Building empathy and recognizing harmful behaviors online.

Privacy Settings 101

Based on your comfort-level

Critical Thinking in Clicks

Help Kids & Parents Outsmart the Internet

The internet isn’t slowing down, and neither are bad actors, shady apps, or privacy pitfalls. That’s where you come in.

At Opt-Inspire, we’re on a mission to equip 5th–6th graders and their parents/guardians with real-world digital smarts.

No tech degree? No problem. We’ll train you. We just need sharp minds, kind hearts, and people who care.

Lead or assist in live, interactive workshops

Guide kids and parents through hands-on digital safety lessons that are fun, practical, and designed to stick. Whether you’re leading or supporting, you’ll help turn “wait, what?” into “oh, I got this.”

Break down big tech topics into bite-sized, actionable tips for busy parents. From scam spotting to privacy settings, you’ll be their go-to guide for smarter digital choices at home.
