Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 5, 2025

At Opt-Inspire, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we believe protecting your privacy is part of building trust, and we take that very seriously. Whether you're here to learn, volunteer, or bring resources to your community, we want you to feel confident in how we handle your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

1. What We Collect

We only collect personal information you choose to share with us—typically just your name and contact details (like an email address or phone number). This might happen when you:

  • Fill out a contact form
  • Sign up to volunteer or attend a workshop
  • Request info about our programs or resources

We don’t collect sensitive personal data, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your messages
  • Organize volunteer efforts or events
  • Send updates about our mission and community resources—but only if you’ve said that’s okay

We never sell your data, and we don’t share it with marketers. If we work with service providers (like email platforms or web hosts), they only get the info they need—and they’re required to keep it secure and confidential.

3. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, update, or correct your personal info
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Ask us to delete your information

To reach us about any of the above, just email connect@optinspire.org—we’re here to help.

4. Security

We use reasonable safeguards (technical, physical, and administrative) to protect the information you share with us. That said, no internet transmission is ever 100% secure, so we recommend keeping your own devices protected too.

5. If You're Visiting from Outside the U.S.

Our website runs out of the United States, but people from all over may find us. If you're submitting information from outside the U.S., please know that your data will be transferred and processed here in accordance with U.S. privacy laws.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we’ll revise the “Effective Date” above and update this page.
